CMC Members
You do not need to book to stay at the Hut, but you should check the Hut Calendar to ensure that an Exclusive Stay (occasionally on Tuesday and Wednesday nights) or essential maintenance work are not scheduled. Both are highlighted in Red in the calendar and are the only times you cannot stay.
Other considerations are whether an outside club is booked, highlighted in Green, or Family Meets scheduled, highlighted in Yellow. In both cases you are able to stay but should be aware that the Hut will be busy.
A member may take up to 3 guests, the small Members’ Room being reserved for members’ exclusive use should the hut be accommodating a booked party at the time. Two weekends per month are normally reserved exclusively for CMC members and their guests. A whole (Monday-Friday) week in the summer holiday, one in the Easter holiday period and October half term are also set aside for members with children. Outside these weeks children must be aged 14 or over.
David Richards, the Hut Warden, should be contacted (01609 882585) in relation to any matters concerning the hut facilities, services, faults etc. You will also need to contact David to get your Hut key (£15 deposit required).
You do not need to book, but if you want to discuss any aspect of scheduling your stay, contact Hut Booking Secretary Victoria Laing. Email: hut.booking.cmc@gmail.com
